I’ve been a Home Assistant user for a few years now, and honestly, I can’t imagine life without it. My smart home journey began with out-of-the-box products, but I soon realized they didn’t quite fit my needs. That’s when I dove into DIY solutions like ESP32 and ESP8266, teaching myself wiring and other basics along the way.
